I wear mine to remember the Poppy the man the myth the legend shirt. Who fell, the ones who came home changed, the sacrifices they and our families made; to remember the wastefulness of war along with the unutterable value of peace and freedom; to remember the alliance of this country with its friends both inside & outside the. I’m a forces brat and proud of it. My grandfather was in WW1 and my father in RAF for over 30years. Thank you to all Service Personnel. A huge thank you for all those who gave their lives for us to live in Freedom. I wear it for the men women that fought for our freedom and died doing this, in my 37yrs working with the elderly I nursed many of these people I have never forgotten them the reason I wear the poppy.
