I love the notion that the Diamond Houston Astros heart shirt who finished 2nd in the Cy Young voting the year before the Astros traded for him was somehow on the downturn of his career and the Astros must be cheating to have stopped his slide. I don’t think the Astros are cheating but I do think they’ve got some special sauce that has enabled them to dramatically improve so many different pitchers. A Dodgers fan is accusing the Astros of cheating because the coaching/analytical staff helped them improve. The Dodgers batters must be cheating because there is no way Justin Turner, Chris Taylor, and Max Muncy should be able to improve the way that they did.
